Space Analyse
This space is my bed room in 3 bedroom apartment which located in Dalmeny Ave Rosebery. the space is locate within a large resicential complex which olny can access residents. The enviroment is nice and quiet, however i am really unsatisfied the room I live, because it is too small for me. That is the reason Choose this space. Because I am a international student and live alone in Australia, so share acommadation is the way I live. Thus my bedroom means my living room, kitchen, study room and bedroom. All those activites in one small space is extremly unsatisfied, anbd specially I am a architecture student who required more large working area. Thus I willing to modifide this space to meet my satisfication.
Structural Regeneration
Splitting
Attaching
Elevating
The initial notion for conceptualising this space was structural regeneration which following the strategies of Splitting, Attaching and Elevating. The initial space consisted with many element and function in small and single space. The functions including dining room, living room, study room and bed room. First of all, splitting the initial space apart, then attaching with new power wave. This process is in order to break this small enclosure to release all the elements. Then the working space and balcony relocating into upper level, living room and both room remain in initial level and the bed room relocating independently in lower lever. Elevating the space to the sky to finalise this regeneration process, to release from initial surrounding wall, let the space to Breath.
